Starting Wednesday 15
September, 6 - 7pm Location: Leys School Astro, Trumpington Road, Cambridge CB2 2AD Open to all hockey players (boys and girls) between 14 and 17 years old. Please just turn up and get involved! Starting this wednesday there will be weekly hockey skills sessions run by by former Olympian and experienced hockey coach, Nick Thompson and guest coaches. Sessions are open to anyone between the age of 14-17 (boys and girls) and will cover the latest skills and techniques to improve your game. The sessions are being held at the newly laid, top level astro surface at the Leys School in Cambridge. Each session will run from 6 - 7pm, please arrive ready to play at 6pm. The sessions will run in 6 week blocks from 15 September - 20 October and then 3 November - 8 December. The cost of each six week block will be just £20 (application forms will be available at the session). Nick has 196 England and GB caps having played in several Olympics, World and European Cups and scored 56 international goals. He has extensive coaching experience at both senior and junior levels.
